Celebrating its sixth year, the Coronado Island Film Festival screened nearly 100 films including shorts, documentaries, studio and independent features, emerging student films, and a slate of internationally lauded films. This year’s Leonard Maltin Celebrity Tribute welcomed a distinguished group of industry honorees including Nancy Utley, Richard Dreyfuss, Ann Blyth, Alexandre Desplat, Mayes Rubeo, and Gabriel Beristain, who joined Maltin for a short conversation on their careers, personal anecdotes, and their enduring legacy in Hollywood. The interviews brought the room to laughter, tears, and featured standing ovations for Blyth and Dreyfuss. The evening was hosted by CIFF Executive Director Merridee Book and CIFF Founder and Chair, Doug St. Denis, and was presided over by the Honorary Jury President, Leonard Maltin.
