Community leaders gather to celebrate A Step Beyond’s inaugural Wine Tasting Benefit

A group of 150 leaders from the business, education, and nonprofit community gathered at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa to celebrate A Step Beyond’s inaugural Wine Tasting Benefit. A Step Beyond is a nonprofit afterschool program that prepares underserved youth for college and career through a ten-year program featuring dance education, academics, and family services. The event raised more than $150,000 and featured fine wine, food, and a program honoring the founders of A Step Beyond, Frank and Jan Foster. Carlsbad Mayor Matt Hall presented the Fosters with a proclamation recognizing their vision and contributions to the community.
