Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s annual Celebration of Second Chances took place at the Del Mar Country Club. CBS News 8’s Jeff Zevely returned as co-host, along with his wife, Heather. RCHS President Jim Silveira says that this year’s theme, “It’s All About The Animals,” wasn’t just an event title. “It’s what we do every day. During the last 57 years RCHS has watched a community grow up around us. Whether it’s cats, dogs, rabbits, or local wildlife, it’s all about the animals.”
