Nearly 350 food enthusiasts and community supporters gathered to attend Casa de Amparo’s 26th Annual Meet the Chefs to benefit programs that serve foster youth in San Diego County. Guests enjoyed unlimited samples of signature tastings crafted by chefs from premier local restaurants. Complimentary wine, beer and champagne were also served. Participating restaurants and chefs included Dolce, Pamplemousse Grille, and many more. Event proceeds benefited foster youth age 12-18 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Casa de Amparo’s programs support these youth by providing them access to critical services including housing, healthcare, and mental health support.
