La Jolla Playhouse’s annual Gala returned on March 21, bringing supporters together for an elegant evening co-chaired by Gail and Ralph Bryan. The celebration began with a cocktail reception in the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Theatre District, followed by an intimate onstage dinner inside the Mandell Weiss Theatre. A highlight of the evening was a captivating performance by Broadway legend Brian Stokes Mitchell, alongside appearances by Zachary Noah Piser and singer/songwriter MILCK. The event also honored outgoing Artistic Director Christopher Ashley and welcomed Jessica Stone into the role. Proceeds supported the Playhouse’s New Play Development and Learning and Engagement programs.
