Beach & Country Guild hosted its 52nd annual Dia del Sol at the blufftop Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas. The luncheon featured a champagne welcome and silent auction, followed by a live auction and strolling fashions from Nicole Miller San Diego, Sea Biscuit Del Mar, and TRE Boutique while guests enjoyed a gourmet meal from the resort’s renowned executive chef, Claudette Zepeda. Guest speaker Metzli Ocampo, a former Dia del Sol child model, shared her experience as a young adult living with cerebral palsy. The event generated more than $250,000, with all proceeds benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego County.
