TERI Campus of Life expands opportunities for people with disabilities in San Diego

Through lifelong programs and public experiences spanning dining, theater, and equestrian activities, the nonprofit brings people of all abilities together

Published

For more than 45 years, TERI (Training, Education & Resource Institute) has been transforming lives, pioneering innovative solutions, and redefining what’s possible for individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, alongside support for their families.

Founded in 1980 by visionary advocate Cheryl Kilmer, TERI was built on the belief that individuals with disabilities deserve far more than basic support. They deserve opportunities to learn, work, create, build meaningful relationships, and live lives filled with independence, purpose, and joy. Today, through more than 20 programs spanning every stage of life and an unwavering commitment to quality, the organization continues to bring that vision to life at its one-of-a-kind TERI Campus of Life.

Open to the public, the campus invites people of all abilities to connect and experience TERI through its social enterprises, including TERI Common Grounds Café, The Bornemann Theatre, private event venue rentals, equestrian experiences, and TERI Inspired Resale. tericampusoflife.org
