Help For Haiti

By reversing deforestation, San Diego-based Plant With Purpose (PWP) helps the world’s rural poor by creating economic opportunity out of environmental restoration. The organization has served the Haitian people since 1997, and is committed to the country’s recovery and reconstruction in the wake of the recent devastating earthquake. At press time, PWP’s Haitian director Guy Parison reported that all staff have been accounted for, although one member lost his wife and ten-day-old son when their house collapsed.
