A Shining Star

There’s yet another reason to support the San Diego Chargers — linebacker Shaun Phillips has announced a new season of SP’s All-Star Sack Attack, a sponsorship program to benefit the San Diego chapter of After-School All-Stars, which works with youth in underserved communities around the county. Phillips has pledged to once again donate $1,000 for every sack he records in the NFL season. “I’m proud to support After-School All-Stars because the program provides kids with a safe place to go after school — just like a program I participated in when I was a kid.” says Phillips.
