Addicted To Beauty

Dianne York-Goldman and Gilbert Lee, MD, FACS star in Addicted to Beauty, debuting on the Oxygen Network at 11pm on Tuesday, August 4. The series, described as a “reality workplace dramedy” revolves around her new venture at Changes Plastic Surgery and Spa in Carmel Valley. As the story goes, York-Goldman, newly split from dermatologist and business partner, Mitch Goldman, MD, teams ups with Lee on a new medi-spa. Her over-the-top staff, according to press releases, includes Gary, “the flamboyant and outspoken receptionist,” and Shannyn, “the whip cracking spa manager,” who, as the plot thickens, tangle with the “no-nonsense” Mel who manages Lee’s medical office. How much is real — or more likely unreal — is hard to say. But given the local personalities and setting (scenes were also shot in La Jolla and about town), Addicted to Beauty could make for habit-forming TV.
