RH debuts its largest global gallery ever. This four-story masterpiece is a major destination on the SoCal design scene
It’s a next-level immersion of retail and hospitality. Leave it to RH to reimagine the furniture showroom of yore with a dramatic artistic display that pushes the luxury boundaries; a rooftop restaurant is the cherry on top
RH Newport Beach, The Gallery at Fashion Island, is a four-story architectural masterpiece that debuted in December. It’s also the brand’s largest and most spectacular concept yet, featuring wine bars, coffee bars, and RH Ocean Grill. The 270-seat indoor-outdoor rooftop restaurant is where heritage olive trees frame stunning ocean views. Reserve yesterday.
“RH Newport Beach is one of our most dramatic, immersive, and brand-defining physical locations to date,” says RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman. “The Gallery reflects our quest to continue revolutionizing physical retailing, blurring the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality, and we are proud to introduce this inspiring destination in the Southern California market.”
After a decade of planning, the 97,000-square-foot space features entire floors and courtyards devoted to “lifestyle installations” of RH Interiors and Modern Collections paired with rare art, antiques, and artifacts sourced from across the globe. It houses the largest assortment of RH Outdoor collections in North America as well as RH Baby & Child and RH TEEN.
On level three, there’s RH’s first fully integrated Waterworks Showroom, featuring 3,000 square feet of bath and kitchen fittings, fixtures, accessories, lighting, and surfaces. Plus: An 8,500-square-foot RH Interior Design Atelier, offering an unparalleled level of professional design services.
Draped in fauna, sculpture, and chandeliers, the destination oozes worldly elegance. The arrival experience is high-drama: A double floating staircase dramatically spirals toward the upper floors and RH Ocean Grill. Guests dine in lush gardens inspired by the great classical landscapes of Europe. The menu emphasizes seafood, caviar, and enduring classics.
