The Seductive Home
Interior designer Moll Anderson believes homes can “reflect the allure of seduction with their rich, sensual elements and decadent details.” In her lavish book, The Seductive Home, she shows readers how to “infuse love and passion” into their personal spaces, creating harmony between the home and heart. Anderson, a lifestyle expert as well as designer, has contributed her expertise to such shows as ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today, and has been featured in Cosmopolitan, InStyle, and other national magazines.
“Seduction evokes emotion — it’s exhilarating, joyful, surprising, and most important, it’s sensual,” she writes. “You’re drawn in and you want to experience more.” Voluptuous fabrics, flickering candles, and fresh-cut flowers from “one simple, delicate orchid” to “a labyrinth of white Casablanca lilies,” are just some of Anderson’s ingredients. She also tells readers how to create intimate tables for two, and entertain in style, adding some of her own recipes. In before-and-after photos of her own homes, Anderson shows how to transform the ordinary into the truly extraordinary.
Limited editions of the book are now available at Neiman Marcus and at www.mollanderson.com,
