Cleaning out your closets in the New Year? Consider donating “gently loved” designer clothing, shoes, and accessories to the FACE Foundation’s Closets for a Cause, a program that has raised more than $22,000 to care for critically ill pets. Fashion stylist Marie Green will help you whittle your wardrobe when she picks up donations. Says Green: “It’s a great way for donors to contribute to FACE and get their closets edited at the same time.” If you have out-of-town friends who’d like to donate, FACE will even send them a pre-paid shipping label.
