The resale boutique’s merchandise is available at 70 to 95 percent below retail prices. For example, an Urban Outfitters sweater that retails for $80 to $100 will sell for just $12.50, or Tory Burch shoes for as little as $14.95. High-end designer handbags and upscale jewelry are great items for consignment. The boutique offers a “wish list” service for customers looking for specific designer labels such as Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada, and will notify you when a wish list item arrives. Their advice is to keep sentimental items and  consign the rest. What doesn’t sell can be donated to charity.
