Vista Hill Council on Mental Health Brunch

Vista Hill’s Council on Mental Health Brunch will feature keynote speaker, sociologist and Senior Fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, Christine Carter, PhD, who will share an interactive presentation that will delve into the need for purpose.
Dr. Carter is an author, speaker, and coach. Combining scientific research and practical application, she offers her clients, readers, and audiences not only a way to cope with modern pressures, but tactics to truly thrive. She has authored several books including The Sweet Spot: How to Achieve More by Doing Less (2017). The event will also posthumously bestow the 2024 Mental Health Advocate Award to Chuck Pretto, who served as the honorary chair for the Council on Mental Health event in 2022 and was instrumental in bringing more attention and focus to behavioral health challenges during his term as Rotary District Governor of District 5340.
