St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center will host its 11th annual Tea by the Sea from 11am-2pm.
Guests will enjoy a light “afternoon tea”-inspired lunch served alongside hors d’oeuvres and champagne. The event will also feature opportunity drawings and live music. All proceeds raised will benefit Sophie’s Gallery and art program located in Downtown El Cajon. The art program is currently offered to 400+ SMSC students who are taught a variety of media such as print-making, jewelry-making, painting, charcoal, pastels, fabric arts, and more. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite tea-time attire. Honorary chairs are Maureen King, Angel Kleinbub, and Barbara Menard. SMSC serves hundreds of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through nationally recognized, innovative programs.
