The community is invited to take a self-guided tour to see works by 36 local artists in numerous inspiring venues. Created by artist Dot Renshaw, the tour will feature nine locations (to be disclosed with tour map) to be toured over two days in La Jolla and Pacific Beach.
Tour stops includes a Kate Sessions 1926 home designed by Irving Gill, a William Kesling 1945 Kozy Kow Kowshed, and a 1920 Moorish-style design with a 20-foot tall studio. Artists will be showing works in diverse categories including realism, abstracts, watercolors, photography, mixed media, pastels, jewelry, fiber arts, ceramics, glass, wood, and gourds. Sizes range from small to monumental in both 2D and 3D. The event will benefit children’s scholarship programs at The Village Arts & Education Foundation of Spanish Village in Balboa Park.
