The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of North County San Diego returns for a powerful community gathering honoring cancer survivors, remembering loved ones lost, and raising funds to support lifesaving cancer research and patient programs.

Held at the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad from noon into the evening, the volunteer-led event features family-friendly activities including live music, a kids’ zone, and visits from local police and fire departments, alongside meaningful traditions such as the luminaria walk after dark. Proceeds support ACS initiatives including Hope Lodge, Road to Recovery, Reach to Recovery, and the organization’s 24/7 Cancer Helpline, with this year’s fundraising goal set at $250,000.
