Hawthorne Country Store’s 22nd Annual Flocktoberfest

Hawthorne Country Store invites families to celebrate all things chickens at its 22nd Annual Flocktoberfest, happening at all three store locations.

Guests can meet the “Flockers,” learn the ins and outs of backyard chicken care, and even pick out new “chickies” to bring home. The event highlights the many benefits of keeping chickens — pets that provide protein, recycle waste, and create natural fertilizer — while sharing Hawthorne’s homesteading expertise.
