Fairmont Grand Del Mar debuts its inaugural Día de Muertos Gala, an immersive evening of Mexican culture, world-class cuisine, and philanthropy that officially kicks off the San Diego Food + Wine Festival.

The chef-driven culinary journey will honor internationally acclaimed chef and humanitarian José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, and feature Michelin-recognized chefs Javier Plascencia, Roberto Alcocer, Drew Deckman, and Esteban Lluis alongside an impressive roster of culinary talent from Baja California and Southern California. Guests will enjoy tasting stations, premium wines and spirits, live music, cultural performances, traditional Día de Muertos installations, and luxury auctions. An exclusive VIP Chef Experience begins at 5pm, followed by the main celebration at 6:30pm. Proceeds benefit Fundación Tijuana Sin Hambre, which provides meals to children, families, seniors, and others experiencing food insecurity throughout Tijuana.
