Las Patronas celebrates 80 years of philanthropy with the 80th Annual Jewel Ball, “Festa di Venezia,” an elegant Venetian-inspired evening at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.

Led by Las Patronas President Colleen Lighter, Jewel Ball Chair Jenny McGowan, Design Chairs Ingrid de Salazar and Stephanie Stone, and Ballroom & Tables Chair Lisa Bresnahan, the milestone event will transport guests to the romance and grandeur of Venice through immersive décor, exceptional cuisine, specialty cocktails, live entertainment, and dancing beneath the stars. Proceeds benefit Las Patronas’ 2026 Major Beneficiaries, including Alpha Project, Canine Companions, Meals on Wheels San Diego County, National Marine Mammal Foundation, Promises2Kids, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, and Workshops for Warriors. Since 1946, Las Patronas has granted more than $28 million to over 1,000 nonprofit organizations throughout San Diego County
