Tastiest Taste

The Del Mar Village Association’s recent Taste & Art Stroll featured culinary creations from more than two-dozen Del Mar restaurants, original works by local artists, children’s activities, a dog stroll, and live music performances. A record number of votes were cast this year in Ranch & Coast’s annual Tastiest Taste contest, with top honors going to chef Brandon Fortune and Kitchen 1540 for their Shrimp ‘n’ Grits, a delicious dish with Anson Mills South Carolina grits, roasted corn, chorizo cream, and heirloom popcorn.
