The museum at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido presents Writing with Pictures, a vibrant art exhibition that tells the elaborate story behind the creation of picture books and prompts exploration of their role in the 21st century. View original storybook illustrations from popular works such as A Boy and a Jaguar, Stellaluna, and The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm. The museum is open July 11-September 13 (Thursday-Sunday).
