You Can Heal Your Heart

On Thursday, February 13, Vista Hill Council on Mental Health presents a luncheon with guest speaker David Kessler at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. Kessler is a well-known lecturer on death and grieving who has helped thousands of men, women, and children face life and death with peace, dignity, and courage. He recently co-authored You Can Heal Your Heart, Finding Peace After a Breakup, Divorce or Death. Kessler’s work has been discussed in the Los Angeles Times and The New York Times, and has been featured on CNN-Cross Fire, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, and Entertainment Tonight. At the event, an inaugural Mental Health Advocate Award will be given to Laurie Black, who has been a part of the political and business landscape in San Diego for more than 20 years.
