Race For Autism

National Foundation for Autism Research hosts the 8th annual San Diego Race for Autism on Saturday, March 24, in Balboa Park. Serving as a “march to awareness” for April’s Autism Awareness Month, the race raises money for the development of innovative treatment programs, educational support and materials, and research and services to provide a positive, immediate impact on thousands of San Diego children with autism. The race includes a 5K timed run/walk and one-mile Family Fun Walk, informative autism resource fair, children’s activities, awards ceremony, refreshments, and raffle. One-hundred percent of race proceeds are donated directly back to our community, funding local programs, autism resources, and hundreds of San Diego classrooms.
