Food & Wine at Pilates People, Health and Wellness Event

On Thursday, January 17, from 6-8pm, Pilates People presents an informative and fun evening of healthy appetizers and wine. Learn from Amy Pamensky, a certified natural chef and holistic health coach, about simple ways to improve your diet, how to stay on track, as well as what foods to avoid and what to eat to help with inflammation. Get tips on how to efficiently stock your pantry for success! Through her natural approach, Pamensky educates clients about an anti-inflammatory diet, which has many benefits including: enhanced digestion, decreased food sensitivities as well as general prevention for disease and injuries.

Meet Adam Meyerowitz Lac, who will be on hand to answer all of your acupuncture questions. From pain and anxiety to cravings and digestive issues, acupuncture treatments can help. Meyerowitz received his Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. Upon completion of the four-year program, he spent time in China furthering his acupuncture and herbal studies at the Chengdu TCM University and Hospital. He is a Nationally Certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine as well as a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist. Meyerowitz also brings over ten years of study and practice of various mind-body and energetic techniques including meditation, visualization, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, yoga, and various energy healing modalities.

Also, hypnotist Bill Anapoell, MD will do a demo, with information on how to control pain through hypnosis.
