Bras Across The Bay

Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego is partnering with KFMB-TV/CBS  8, JACK FM, and Flagship to kick off breast cancer awareness month and the final stretch to the Race for the Cure. On Saturday, October 1, go aboard a Flagship Yacht for Bras Across the Bay —an evening on the bay with a special musical performance by Bushwalla, a live artist painting of breast cancer survivors by Sharif I. Carter, a fine art bra auction, pink specialty cocktails, and delicious food. A portion of the $35 ticket price will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego, which provides support for diagnostic services and treatment, and helps those affected by breast cancer by putting food on their table, supporting with childcare services, or paying rent or mortgage. Seventy-five percent of every dollar raised through affiliate-sponsored events stays right here in San Diego County to fund services and treatments for uninsured and underinsured women and their families.
