Upcoming Komen Events

On Sunday, October 26, at North Ski Beach in Mission Bay, rowers of all types, from stand up paddleboarders to eight-person teams, will take their mark to fight against breast cancer at Row for the Cure.

On Sunday, November 2, the 18th annual Susan G. Komen San Diego Race for the Cure takes place in Balboa Park.

The fundraising festivities then culminate with the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, in which participants will conquer 60 miles November 21-23.

Since its inception in 1995, Komen San Diego has raised more than $12.5 million to fund local nonprofits that provide everything from free diagnostic mammograms and surgeries to meal delivery, child care, and temporary financial aid.  (www.komensandiego.org)
