Downtown El Cajon revs up its engines this summer with the addition of several community events not to be missed. The Cajon Classic Cruise takes place every Wednesday from 5-8pm on the corner of Main Street and Magnolia Avenue. This free event features a weekly theme, and guests can view the best cars while strolling through downtown. Then, every Thursday from 3-7pm, on the Prescott Promenade, a farmers’ market will feature fresh produce from local farms, ethnic cuisine, and live entertainment. For music enthusiasts, don’t miss Dinner & a Concert on the Prescott Promenade every Friday night through September 27. Featured June performers include The Choice Entertainers, The Heroes, Eighties-Stars, and Fantasy All-Star Band.
