Back In The Race

On Sunday, July 22, The Country Friends presents its 48th annual Day at the Races. Titled Back in the Race and chaired by Deborah and Les Cross, the event will take place in the Seabiscuit Skyroom at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, and will feature a Fairbanks Ranch Buffet, a fantastic silent auction, and a men’s and women’s hat contest. The Country Friends’ 2012 funded agencies include Burn Institute of San Diego, Center for Community Solutions, Freedom Stations, Home of Guiding Hands Foundation, PCI San Diego, San Diego Blood Bank, YWCA, and many more.
