L’Auberge Del Mar Thanksgiving Festivities
Kitchen 1540’s executive chef Brandon Fortune has created a modern Thanksgiving menu with a Southern twist that offers diners a perfect blend of traditional dishes and progressive, artistic cuisine. The three-course, pre-fixe menu is offered from 12-8pm on Thursday, November 27, and is $65 per person or $32 for children under 12. Reservations required. (858.793.6460)

Wyoming Bison Tartare: egg yolk, “everything cracker,” shaved wild mushrooms, & red mustard frill

Spa L’Auberge invites guests to celebrate Thanksgiving all month long with special prices on its treatments designed with the season in mind: Purifying Pumpkin Wrap and Hot Toddy Mani Pedi. (858.793.6493, www.laubergedelmar.com)
The Purifying Pumpkin Wrap is a deliciously, nutrient rich 50-minute treatment that provides instant radiance by deep cleansing the skin and improving uneven skin tones throughout the body. The treatment starts with a dry brush exfoliation all over the body, followed by the pumpkin mask application. The session concludes with a full body caramel moisturizing body milk application to leave the skin soft and supple. The treatment is priced a $115 (regularly $145) through November 31, 2014.
For more fall fun, guests can try the Hot Toddy Mani Pedi that starts with a foot and hand soak, followed by a warm, buttery, rum and brown sugar scrub to exfoliate hands and feet. A hydrating masque is applied to overworked heels, before an application of sweet cream moisturizer. This manicure pedicure is finished with the perfect fall polish of choice. The treatment is priced at $99.00 (regularly $110) through November 31, 2014.
