Hiking Through the Ramona Grasslands Preserve
Hiking Through the Ramona Grasslands Preserve
Jan. 23
Begin your New Year with a trek thousands of years into the past. Join anthropologist Richard Carrico for a two-hour moderate hike within the Ramona Grasslands Preserve, exploring the Kumeyaay village of Pa’mu and the plant resources that served as the Kumeyaay’s pantry and pharmacy, and discussing the importance of the landscape. At the conclusion of the hike participants are invited to join Carrico for further discussions and lunch in Ramona. sandiegoarchaeology.org
