Dirty Dogs Carlsbad Grand Opening
November 14-16, Dirty Dogs presents a grand opening sale in Carlsbad. All products will be 20 percent off, and self-serve baths are free for all customers. They are also hosting a holiday pet food drive to benefit the Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
Located at Palomar Airport Road and El Camino Real, the new location’s festivities will include healthy giveaways for the first 15 customers in the store on each day. The first customers on Saturday will see a give-away from Merrick Pet Nutrition and Sunday’s customers will receive coupons for free nail trims.
The Btesh family founded Dirty Dogs in 2008, opening their first location in the Torrey Hills neighborhood of Carmel Valley. Their stores offer self-serve pet wash facilities in a spa environment as well as hand-selected specialty pet foods and treats. Dirty Dogs also offers professional pet bathing and grooming as well as walk-in services like nail trims and teeth brushing.
The County of San Diego recognized Dirty Dogs in its Live Well Initiative earlier this year for the company’s dedication to the San Diego community and Dirty Dogs’ fundraising achievements through in-store dog wash fundraisers and a series of dog-friendly events at nightlife locations aptly named Bark After Dark.
Dirty Dogs is currently hosting a pet food drive for the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. In 2013, Dirty Dogs and its were successful in raising 3,500 pounds of pet food for RCHS, which was used by their food bank to feed pets of low-income families across San Diego.
