San Diego Botanic Garden presents its annual Chocolate Festival from 10am-4pm, featuring an array of delicious goodies created by 15-20 chocolate artisans. Taking place the day before Mother’s Day, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the day relaxing in SDBG’s garden oasis while sampling edibles made from the ground beans of the Theobroma cacao. In the garden’s Kidzone, children can make crafts and gifts for mom, including flower key chains, hand print keepsakes, bamboo flutes, and heart-shaped paper collages. 760.436.3036, sdbgarden.org
