Fashionable women the world over wear sumptuous gowns by gifted designer Naeem Khan. His beautiful creations are embellished by craftsmen in specialties of fabrics, beading, and embroidery. Artisans from India and fabric makers from Europe enhance Khan’s gorgeous garments. This year, look for adorned jumpsuits, spangled tuxedos, chiffon gowns, and dome-beaded dresses. Celebrating Couture 2015, presented by the Globe Guilders and Neiman Marcus, will be staged at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront on May 12, chaired by Suzie Poet Turner, with co-chairs Angie DeCaro and Linda Van Vark, to benefit The Old Globe. This is a very special year for the Guilders, since 2015 marks three important milestones: the 25th annual fashion show, the 60th anniversary of the Globe Guilders organization, and the 80th anniversary of The Old Globe. In addition, with this collection Naeem Khan is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the launching of his couture brand, now enjoying worldwide recognition. A toast in honor of four important anniversaries will be in order
