Of the many 2015 Panama-California Exposition centennial attractions, one of the nicest is the Balboa Park Botanical Building Tours, which will be offered throughout the entire year. During the visit, enjoy a 45-minute tour led by a knowledgeable docent. Load up on information about the origin, design, 100-year history, and gorgeous horticulture of this very special site. The structure is one of the largest lath buildings in the world and the nearby Lily Pond and Lagoon add to the enticing beauty of the setting. Learn also about Alfred D.
