San Diego Watercolor Society Exhibition

The San Diego Watercolor Society at Liberty Station in Point Loma presents its 30th international exhibition, a juried show of watermedia paintings. On view the entire month of October, the exhibit/event features more than $10,000 in awards and attracts entries from some of the finest watermedia artists worldwide. Ninety-five paintings out of 599 entries by award-winning artists have been selected for this annual exhibition. Juror Pat Dews is a nationally known artist and teacher. Residing in New York and Florida, Dews is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society,
the American Watercolor Society, the National Collage Society, and the National Association of Women Artists. Dews creates experimental works on paper and canvas, and paints the abstract and non-representational essence of nature. (858/277-7066, www.sdws.org)   JANE SHIOMI
