MCASD Member Appreciation Day

MCASD will present its inaugural Member Appreciation Day on Sunday, November 14, from 11am-5pm. Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities, tours, treats, and special savings. While some benefits are reserved exclusively for museum embers, non-members are also invited to attend and participate. Enjoy a textile-based art-making activity for children – and adults! – inspired by artist Kim MacConnel; a Viva la Revolucion-inspired screen printing activity presented by The Roots Factory; gallery guide-led tours of Collection Applied Design: A Kim MacConnel Retrospective at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm; a chocolate tasting bar presented by Chuao Chocolatier from 2-5pm; a free gift for members; and the annual holiday sale at the X Store, where visitors can shop for the perfect holiday gift (members receive a 20% discount on this day). Also, each MCASD member is invited to bring a friend to the museum for free. Special gifts will be offered for those who join and the members whose friends join. (www.mcasd.org)
