Jazz In The Park

There’s no better way to banish those summertime blues than relaxing to the sounds of Park Hyatt Aviara’s “Jazz in the Park” Summer Concert series every Saturday in July from 6-8pm. Enjoy some of the hottest names in contemporary smooth jazz as you take in the sunset views from the resort’s intimate outdoor events center, complete with theatre-style seating as well as open cocktail tables. Add al fresco dining to the mix with an array of flavorful dishes by executive chef Pierre Albaladejo.

Mindi Abair — July 7

Saxophonist Mindi Abair’s own brand of pop-meets-jazz adds a refreshingly unique voice to an exciting new generation of contemporary jazz artists. Her latest album, In Hi-Fi Stereo, debuted at #2 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart.

 

Rick Braun — July 14

Renowned trumpet player Rick Braun fuses cool-toned smooth jazz with R&B, light funk, and adult contemporary pop for a catchy, accessible sound. His numerous collaborations with artists Richard Elliot, Brian Bromberg, Chris Standring, Jeff Golub, Peter White, and 3rd Force have led to multiple No. 1 records.

 

Euge Groove — July 21

Known for his catchy hooks, seductive rhythms, and an occasional splash of fiery horn, saxophonist Euge Groove recently released his 7th album, Seven Large, to critical and popular acclaim.

 

Peter White — July 28

As a chart-topping performer, Peter White has kept smooth jazz fans worldwide enthralled by his spirited melodies, soulful grooves and an inviting, instantly recognizable acoustic guitar tone.

 

A limited number of concert tickets will be sold to the general public for $65 each. Dinner with dessert is $25 per person.
