20th Annual San Diego Music Awards

On September 12 at 7pm, the San Diego Music Awards return to Humphreys by the Bay to honor the best of the local music scene and raise money for the San Diego Music Foundation (SDMF). Enjoy performances by The Night Marchers, The Nervous Wreckords, Transfer, and more. Iron Butterfly will be honored with the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award. “This year’s San Diego Music Awards will help support the next generation of musicians by providing acoustic guitars for San Diego elementary school music programs in need,” notes Kevin Hellman, founder of SDMF, which, through its Taylor Guitars for Schools, has provided more than 1,500 guitars to 65 area elementary schools.
