The Alzheimer’s Association of San Diego will host a unique fundraising event, #Art4Alz, on August 24, from 6:30pm to midnight at A Robert Cromeans Salon at the Harbor Club in downtown San Diego. A celebration of the creative mind, the goal of the event is to raise funds to support the #Collaboration4Cure, an innovative initiative to bring together San Diego’s brightest scientists to fund research that translates into a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Event highlights include performances from aerial and street dancers, top graffiti artists, performance artists, culinary art, cold pressed craft cocktails and local musicians. Robert Cromeans, global artistic director for Paul Mitchell, will host a live performance hair presentation featuring runway-inspired hairstyles. (www.art4alzsandiego.com/tickets)
