Art San Diego, the county’s premier contemporary fine art show, returns for its ten-year anniversary, featuring cutting-edge exhibitions and in-depth Art Labs while attracting more than 15,000 attendees. The show presents the finest galleries, showcasing established and up-and-coming talent alongside secondary market masters. Art San Diego is sought by art collectors from Southern California, as well as top art aficionados and insiders from across the country and around the world. Visitors can examine artwork from more than 70 exhibitors showing works from 500+ established and emerging artists. The 2018 theme is “Allure,” based on the undeniable power of contemporary and modern art to captivate, seduce, and charm buyers, collectors, and dealers who love their work. An invitation-only Opening Night Preview Party kicks off the festivities on October 18. On Friday, October 19, a Collectors’ Opening Night Party from 6-9pm will include live music, complimentary Louis Jadot wine, passed hors d’oeuvres, and live demonstrations.
