A Touch of the Tropics

City Ballet of San Diego’s 22nd anniversary fundraiser, A Touch of the Tropics, takes place on June 14, from 2-4:30pm, at the estate of Alicja Steiner in Rancho Santa Fe. The critically acclaimed company, under the direction of Steven and Elizabeth Wistrich, both former Boston Ballet and Stuttgart Ballet dancers, is best known for its commitment to presenting ballets by the legendary George Balanchine. At the event, attendees will enjoy cuisine by The Wild Thyme Company and sumptuous desserts provided by Michele Coulon Dessertier. Tropical drinks and wine combined with waterfalls and lush surroundings will make for a delightful afternoon.
