For the seventh year, a top global sand-sculpting competition will be held on San Diego’s waterfront. More than 300 tons of sand will be brought in for this family-friendly event, where 12 world master sculptors from around the world will compete for prize money and global pride. For the first time, the competition will remain open after dark, with sculptures lit in the night along the bay.
