Winter Taste & Sip and Santa Photos by the Sea

Savor the season’s flavors at the Del Mar Village Winter Taste & Sip, taking place from 1 to 4pm.

Stroll the festive streets as you enjoy tastes from Del Mar village restaurants and sips from local beverage vendors. Simultaneously, from 1 to 5pm, Del Mar Village Association and Del Mar Plaza bring back Santa photos on the Del Mar Plaza Ocean View Deck, where you can dress up the kids (or dogs!) for professional photos and write a letter to Santa before meeting him. Keep an eye out for holiday characters roaming the village, enjoy festive carolers, holiday music, hot chocolate, adult beverages, and a chance to meet the Grinch and the Mayor of Del Mar. At 5pm, gather at the amphitheater for the annual holiday tree lighting, complete with more hot chocolate, adult drinks, Santa, and the Grinch to wrap up the festivities.
