Community Resource Center held its 37^th Annual Holiday Baskets Program, which featured three days of joy, hope, and holiday fun. This free and dignified “shopping extravaganza,” managed and implemented by over 2,000 volunteers, took place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Holiday Baskets gives struggling families the opportunity to select coats, blankets, books, infant items, bikes, toys, and a 50-pound box of food with a full holiday meal and all the staples to feed a family for two weeks. In advance of the event, CRC presented Jingle & Mingle, a fundraiser featuring a preview of Holiday Baskets.
