The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary announced those chosen as this year’s Women of Dedication Champions of Giving All-Stars. They are Mary Alice Brady, Diane Christensen, Doris Ellsworth, Laury Graves, Jane Klofkorn, Tamara Lafarga-Joseph, Lynelle Lynch, Lydia McNeil, Mia Park, Marty Pendarvis, Louise Phipps, and Marie Tuthill. These 12 women will be formally honored at a lavish luncheon on April 12, 2019 at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. Chaired by Vicki Eddy, Judy Burer and Sandra Maas, “WOD All-Stars, Champions of Giving,” acknowledges the remarkable lives and works of the honorees. Now in its 54th year, the Women of Dedication luncheon is one of San Diego’s longest running charity events. All proceeds from the Women of Dedication luncheon stay in San Diego and benefit social service programs of The Salvation Army. “These women give of their time and energy and talents and do so much good in our community. It is our privilege to honor them,” says Women’s Auxiliary Liaison Lt. Col. Michele Lescano. Individual tickets are $125 and a table of 10 can be purchased for $1,250. sdsawa.salvationarmy.org
