Join Hotel del Coronado and 25 of San Diego and Baja’s best chefs for an unforgettable evening of epicurean splendor benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Guests will gather on The Del’s oceanfront Windsor Lawn, enjoying appetizers from the competing local chefs while mingling with the Culinary Council as they tally their favorites and participate in a silent auction. The program then shifts to a four-course plated dinner with the first course presented by Chef Throwdown 2016 winner Chef Rob Ruiz of the Land & Water Company. Dinner will be followed by a brief program, live auction, and award presentation honoring Roger Harrington of Specialty Produce with the Industry Leader Award. The after-party will feature desserts and craft cocktails from local mixologists. The evening benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its ongoing mission to cure cystic fibrosis and provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives. chefthrowdown.eventscff.org
