The Spa At Morgan Run

Morgan Run Resort & Club is still members-only, but now the public is welcome to book appointments at its beautifully appointed spa, which recently underwent an $8 million renovation. Guests can unwind in a small steam room before heading to a comfortable waiting area — the décor is traditional and refined, as are the spa’s treatments. On a recent visit, masseuse Luna Pecoraro, a petite woman with incredibly powerful hands, thoroughly impressed me with her divine deep-pressure massage while lead aesthetician Becky Schneider carefully assessed my skin before working her magic — my face was firm and glowing all week. Morgan Run has also brought aboard Judith Rubin, MD and Jodi Sawyer, RN from Encinitas’ Nouveau Health for med-spa treatments every Thursday.
