La Valencia Hotel debuts new spa in historic La Jolla cottage
The Pink Lady expands its legacy with holistic therapies and wellness experiences designed for both locals and guests

La Valencia Hotel, La Jolla’s famous “Pink Lady,” has opened The Spa at La Valencia Hotel, offering innovative holistic therapies and an expanded wellness program for both hotel guests and locals. The spa is located in a three-story, ocean-view cottage dating to 1904 at 1125 Coast Boulevard, adjacent to the hotel. Hotel General Manager Troy Longwith calls the spa “an exciting milestone in the venerable hotel’s nearly 100-year history, offering a new sanctuary for our local neighbors to relax, retreat, and reconnect.”
Spa Director Lisa Price brings a decade of experience in the spa industry, beginning as a yoga instructor at the famed Golden Door in Escondido, as spa manager at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe during both a renovation and pandemic challenges, and as spa manager at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa.
The Spa at La Valencia Hotel offers body treatments, facials, and massages as well meditation, sound healing, and reiki. Price’s goal: “To create an exceptional retreat with therapies that blend timeless luxury with transformative wellness.” spaatlavalencia.com
